But when I put the code into this blog post, it gets translated into html, so you never get to see the actual code. I tried to delete the post, but it doesn't seem to be working. This morning I got an excellent question from Barbara. After I sent a reply, it occurred to me that this could be useful information for many of you. Here's her question: "I want to weave in article links-or a PDF file of my own into the content pages. How to do that? I'm stumped." Unfortunately, I can only include 500 words in my blog page, so I'll split up my reply. Hi Barbara, Thanks for writing! Are you using html code to create the links? If not, please tell me what you are using. Most programs have a section in which you can put your own code. I'm going to show you the code I use on the Portfolio page of another of my websites, Scribe for Hire. For reference, here is the page I'm using: http://scribeforhire.net/portfolio.html Here's the code I used to link to a page that is already on the internet. For this example, I'm using the first link on the Portfolio page, to an online sales letter for the Prosperity Partnership Program: Wrote online sales letter for the Prosperity Partnership Program. Note that the above example includes the plain text, so it's a good idea to view the original page. So here's what you would do if the file you were connecting to were called http://www.articlebybarbara.com and you wanted the hyperlinked to text to read "Here is an article I wrote": Here is an article I wrote The reason for the part that says target="_blank" is to be sure the file opens in a separate window. When you link to another page, you don't want people to click away from your website. (See Part 2 for the rest of this post.)

I've made a couple of important updates to the site and just wanted to let you know which pages have major changes. First, the Domain Registrar page is complete now. That means the whole Domain Name section is complete. Be sure you read the page on Front Running as well as the page on Domain Registrars before checking your domain name availability and registering your domain name. Second, I finally found out what's going on with Market Samurai. Their 40-day free trial is available to everyone now. You'll find that information under "Niche Research." Go to the bottom of that page and click on the "Market Samurai" link. I'm working on the web hosting page, honest, but there's a lot of confusing information and I'm trying to be sure I do it right before I complete that page.
